Claudia Fischer builds the bridge between human capability and business outcomes — from the shop floor to the Executive Committee.
As Chief of Staff to the CHRO, HRBP for HR, and Transformation Leader at Ingredion, she sits at the intersection where HR strategy is translated into stakeholder value: she delivered a $5M value case through HR transformation and $1.5M in cost savings through the Cost2Compete program, at Executive Committee level in a publicly traded company. Her operational credibility comes from the other side of that bridge — as Director of Human Resources, Procurement and Supply Chain at Bombardier, she led a multi-year turnaround that cut functional cost by 30% over five years through restructuring, outsourcing, and capability building, proving that people investment and commercial results are not competing priorities. Between both roles she has led the implementation of Ingredion’s Commercial function into a new customer segmentation and operating model and has built high performing teams.
Her path — from an AI startup, through 15 years shaping HR in the railway industry, to Executive Committee level at Ingredion — reflects a career built on one question: how human capability compounds into value for the business, the workforce, and the organizations they both serve.
Claudia holds a law degree from the University of Saarbrücken (exchange: University of Nantes) and a master’s in Educational and Competence Management from the German University of Professional Studies Berlin. She is based in Hamburg, Germany.
