About

Ade McCormack is a former technologist with a foundation in astrophysics who now focuses on how organisations adapt and thrive in an increasingly complex world. He is the founder of the Adaptive Edge Initiative, a think tank dedicated to helping organisations navigate disruption at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and societal change.

He spent a decade as a columnist for the Financial Times, writing on leadership and organisational transformation, and has lectured at MIT Sloan on these topics. He also works with the University of Cambridge’s Møller Institute, contributing to leadership education and executive development.

Earlier in his career, Ade worked in space science with the European Space Agency. Since then, he has worked across more than forty countries and multiple sectors, partnering with many of the world’s most prominent organisations and supporting hundreds of companies in talent management and transformation.

He is the author of six books on strategic and societal issues and has collaborated with the European Commission, including authoring a book on the future of skills in Europe.
